Dongkyun Kim is a pioneer of SD-WAN deployment on the advanced research network in Korea, leading KREONET-S project (Network Softwarization on Korea Research Environment Open Network) at KISTI (Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information). He has been involved in various advanced network projects as PI, co-PI and principal member, which are GENI and K-GENI, GLORIAD, KoreaLight/GLIF, etc. Currently he is a chief researcher at KISTI, and very active in production SD-WAN deployment & services on KREONET, while he has also participated in numerous events, conferences, and workshops as TPC member, author, and invited speaker since 2000.
