Jan is a Linux-focused programmer who has contributed to various open source projects, including the Linux kernel and OpenStack cloud orchestration system. At CESNET, he is responsible for design and development of an open Optical Line System (OLS). At the Telecom Infra Project (TIP), Jan coordinates software development of the Photonic Simulation Environment (GNPy). When not working on SDN or embedded systems, he is often found hiking in the mountains.
