ONF Connect 2018

This talk will introduce Stratum -- a next generation, SDN-ready, thin switch OS that provides silicon and hardware independence. After a brief history and motivation, the talk will focus on a technical overview of the switch interfaces (P4Runtime, gNMI, and gNOI) as well as the architecture. Finally, the talk will provide an overview of on-going development efforts and an updated project timeline. By the event, the project will have transitioned from the pioneering phase to the member development phase, so this will offer an opportunity to reintroduce the project to the community.
