Daisho is introducing the Nalej™ Platform, redefining the edge by standardizing resources and workloads across networks and infrastructure ranging from IoT devices, mobile devices and edge gateways to private bare-metal and public cloud instances.
The Nalej™ Platform lets developers define workloads together with a descriptor detailing resource, capability and security requirements as well as interconnectivity within and between applications. Workloads are deployed on appropriate resources in a completely transparent way, while being analyzed continuously for opportunities for optimization by re-orchestrating and/or replicating (parts of) the application as needed.
With the Nalej™ Platform we propose a Digital Edge Transformation, where CORD is seen as a workload that can be orchestrated and optimized on geo-distributed infrastructure. This simplification of deployment allows for a much more distributed and diverse resource footprint without added operational complexity. Using ARM devices with a low power and cooling footprint can bring CORD functionality all the way to the edge of the network, outside the Central Office.
