During the last year the CORD platform took some huge steps toward modularization and flexibility adopting well know technologies and processes. The changes required to improve the system had impact on the way we build, package and deploy CORD and this reflects in a completely new, and much more flexible, development process.

The purpose of this session is to guide you through the setup of a development environment, whether you are an ONOS, VOLTHA or XOS developer. We’ll cover setups that spawn from a minimal control plane instantiation to the processes needed to test changes on the flight on real hardware, describing their pro and cons and providing instructions and demonstrations.
