From the open source to the commercial production level, many factors need to take into considerations for Service Assurance purpose. QCT, as an infrastructure solution provider, would like to propose Telemetry as a Service (TaaS) to be the very first step of service assurance consolidation. Differentiate from tradition TaaS architecture, QCT tries to provide a comprehensive monitoring system of NFVI including rich hardware checksum mechanism in a decentralized & multi-level mode and integrating out of band (OOB) monitoring systems. Hence, operators will have a full understanding of the overall resource utilization of NFVI. Moreover, all data log will be implemented into Analysis System to provide fault analysis and instant alerting activities to operators. QCT's TaaS will be based on CORD environment with commodity HW components.
